Shoots in the 80s

I played this course about a month ago and it was one of my favorites for a while. I loved how well this course was kept up and even though I played horrible I still had a great time. Far Oaks is definately one of the best courses in the area.

Customer Service

I played this course with my cousin and we are both in high school, and I feel we were treated very poorly and looked down upon because we were younger. Not good customer service.

Shoots in the 70s

I've played this course several times, because I live very close to it, and every time I've played it, I've really enjoyed myself... There's only two things that I really don't like about the course. One thing is the fact that the rough is so thick, you'd think you were playing in a US Open... The other thing that disappoints me about the course is that the greens are ridiculously slow, and it seems that no one that plays there fixes their ballmarks when they get to the green. They are everywhere. All that aside, I think the layout of the course is awesome... The first 7 holes are somewhat links style, but the last twelve or so holes are very woodsy, with huge elevation changes requiring very good ball placement... You can pretty much put your driver away for the back nine, minus the par 5s of course...

Customer Service

The pro shop guy was very nice, and got us out on the course quick.

Far Oaks is an awesome golf course. Tauting a very diverse layout, you won't be disappointed in the course's ability to competitively challenge your skill on each hole. Rates after 2:00PM are more affordable.

Shoots in the 70s

I''ve played this course 3 or 4 times and it''s a joy every time. The front nine is more links style while the back nine is somewhat woodlands style. Possible to shoot well if you play smart and keep your driver in play. If your in the St. Louis area it''s worth the time and money.

Shoot in the 80s

Very impressive course! A lil links style and HARD. Not a course to come out and hack it around. Tees, rough, fairways, green, everything is/was in excellent condition. Bring some $$ and a lot of golf balls.
