Shoots in the 80s

Well, I'm a 15 year old on the Evanston Golf Team, and this is our home course. Before I was in high school, I loved this course because it was fun and cheap. Now that I've played it 40 times a year for the last two years...it's dawned on me that this is not much of a course. It is a great course for practicing your short game, but often doesn't reward your good shots because the course is in such bad shape. It's fun to play on if you aren't too serious, but it can be extremely frustrating if you are. Balls are easily lost, and the trees, fairways, tees, and greens aren't in great shape. I guess it's not too bad for the price though.

The course is in less than perfect condition. Does require accuracy. Very confusing to follow the course. Criss-crosses back and forth over roads. Tees in poor shape, along with greens. Bunkers have very cheap sand.

All right course. Easy greens. Kind of beat up because it has been in service so long. Narrow but short fairways. 12 par 3's and 6 par 4's.

The course is a good value. 12 of the 18 holes are par-3's, and the other six are short par-4's but the fairways are narrow and the course places a premium on accuracy. Greens are generally very small, and they generally aren't too challenging. It is a good course to practice your short game.

Customer Service

Generally decent.

A fun course for the price. It is a short, mostly par 3 course with narrow fairways requiring straight shots or your ball is lost. Much more challenging than a traditional par 3, with some 300+ yard holes.

This course will challange the beginner golfer as it has narrow fairways. While this is not necassarily a bad thing it is a rather straight flat course. The greens are not the difficult so 3-putting should be at a minimum. All in all it's a good course to come out shoot 18 and practice.

This is your basic community golf course. Like many others, it gets ALOT of play and therefore it gets a bit beat up around the tees. Sometimes people jump on the course and may clog up play. It is a short course (around 3,800 yards) and is mostly a par 3 course. It is stil a great place to practice because the narrow fairways make you really concentrate on accuracy, not big hits. Bring your good short game and you will have fun. As to lost balls, if you are having a bad day, you can loose a bunch here. Sometimes you find as many as you loose. A good day for me here is to play with 1 or 2 balls.

Shoot in the 100s

Most tees were in less than desirable condition. Greens were ok. Fairways were in decent condition due to rain. Mostly a par 3 course. 12 par 3's out of 18 holes. Make sure you're coming out just to have some fun. Not the place to be serious. No real distance measurement tools. Good for a family golf outing.
