This course is for those who hit the ball straight. I have played this course twice in nine hole matches for my high school. The first time I played it I played the back 9 and shot a terrible 47, and this year I played the front 9 and shot a 1-under 34. To do this I just hit a 3 iron off every tee. Take out the driver as little as possible on this course. If the conditions are good you can go low, but if they are bad look out for all of the lakes.

Fairways in great shape. Greens were poor on some of the back holes. Lots of water on the course - definitely target golf place versus a grip it and rip it. Kind of pricey on weekends, but my 3some got 15 in during twilight. If you dont hit it straight, come with plenty of balls.

Excellent maintenance program. Course has really improved in that regard over the past 5 years.

Tees are in good shape and roll on greens is very consistent.

Personnel is very friendly. However, Marshals can be a little more aggressive at times. Then again, last time i played here i finished in less than 4-1/2 hrs., so what am i complaining about?

At times the first tee looks to be a little unorganized.

Course is short (just over 6,100 yds from tips), but this is a thinker's course. Target golf - strategy - and water hazards on something like 11 or 12 holes. Not really what one would call "tricked up," just good use of the land they were given.

Lastly, food in the clubhouse is very good.

Customer Service

Staff behind the counter is always friendly, and on the ball. Even those starters/marshals who appear not to be as "alert" are still friendly.

They have a very large practice green that is true to the roll on the course.

Good course for the money. They have plenty of "time of day" specials (ie, early bird, mid day, twilight).
