I found this golf course to be very outdated from the front entrance to the clubhouse and the golf course really needs work. Greens were slow and shaggy. This golf course really needs to be updated, from the fairways to the sand traps. What a shame the layout is a lot of fun.

I do beleive the greens are the best I have had the pleasure of playing of playing in some time. They hold a shot very well and are very fast. (stay below the cup)

The sand traps need to be re-built this is the only weakness of the course.

I have not been invited to play at Itasca C.C. in some time. Allow me state how impressed I am with the course. I could not beleive this was the same course. I found the fairways to be very tight, greens fast (maybe to fast) tees in good coindition, and the over all conditions of the course impressed me very much. If you ever have a chance to play this course, stay below the hole and in the middle of the fairways or it will be a long day.
