the course for an 18 hole course is small, but plays harder then it looks. if you want to sharpen you short game this is the course for you. the greens however need more tlc. by the grounds crew, they,re dry, hard and overly ball marked. i also noticed some active weed growth rimming the greens on their fringes.

Customer Service

play is slow. i also witnessed a group of teenagers driving their golf carts on the greens. a ranger saw this and probably should have asked these young men to leave the course. he warned them. however as soon as he left they drove their carts back on the greens. that ranger should have kept an eye on those young men, or at the very least he should have had his supervisor come out, view the damage sustained to the greens and if necessary have the supervisor eject those who do not respect the course, or the play of others, to leave immediately.

This course is a hidden gem. Fairways are bentgrass and are always in great shape. Course is short but challenging. You might want to keep your driver in the bag on a few of the par-4s, laying up is the smart choice. Did I mention that it's a park district course? You wouldn't be able to tell the difference.

Customer Service

People are friendly. Could use a little for efficiency on tee times, though. Beverage cart seems to be around every 15 minutes or so, a plus in my book.
