Although this is a par 34 course, it is not an easy one. There is water on 7 of the 9 holes, mainly a wide creek that runs through the course. There are 3 holes that befuddle me. #4 is a short par 4 (one of the two dry holes) with a tough to reach green. #6 is a dog leg with a tree that overhangs the green in front making lob approaches impossible. #8 is a long par 4 (415 yards) that if you can't clear the creek (225 yard carry) you must find the right side of the fairway as a tree blocks any shot from the left side fairway or rough. While this course aggravates me at times, I keep coming back.

Customer Service

The staff is very friendly and helpful. Say hi to O.B., he is the main man and a good guy. The bar area has indoor and outdoor seating. Food is good and beer is cold.

Rob Roy in Mount Prospect is an easier course. The old Four Winds course had the same feel of difficulty for me.
