Very average golf course...27 holes, very short, wide open, small greens...cheap to walk, no water, and very little sand.

Fun Course, Great Value. I am a student and it is cheaper to play here ($11 weekday) compared to IU ($14 weekday). Plus, the people that work here treat customers better. My only complaint is they do not fill the water jugs nearly enough. The last two times I went, there was no water and the temp was 85+. NOT FUN! Hope is is better next time.

Customer Service

My wife and I Played the Cascades for the first time today. (quarry and ridge) and had a great time. The course was in fantastic shape even with the lack of rain. The pro shop and ranger were extremely friendly. We had a thoroughly great time, although our scores may not reflect it. Thanks, and keep up the good work.

A muny operated by Parks and Rec. "The Town Corse" opposed to the "College Course." Still gets alot of college play. A 27 hole course, with the third nine having opened in 1998. Original 18 is around 6300 yards max with pretty wide fairways and open driving lanes. Only truly difficult holes would have to be #9, a 220+ yard par three over two hollows to a small, slightly elevated green, and a 410 yard dogleg left with a rolling downhill approach. The new nine requires accuracy (driver not really encouraged on about four holes) as it winds thru the wooded hills of Bloomington. Not long at all, either.

Customer Service

Usually pretty friendly, definitely requires a tee time on the weekends as it''s the only true public course in Bloomington.
