Shoots in the 80s

Offers more strategic interest than most courses but also has some intimidating forced carries for high handicappers. The front nine is mostly open and flat with artificial mounding between holes. The back nine features an outstanding routing through a scenic creek valley with several elevated tees. Excellent bunkering challenges the aggressive play from tee to green while plenty of room is available for the safe play. Most greens are cradled by mounds at the sides and rear, with slopes that extend naturally into the green, but errant approach shots that miss on the wrong side of the mounds can be deflected into long grass or even OB. The putting surfaces are full of subtle contours that relinquish very few straight putts. Fairways are always in excellent condition, greens can vary but are usually pretty good. Walker friendly except for the hike up the hill to 15 tee.
