Shoots in the 80s

Good course, nice layout. Front fairly open, back tighter and tougher. Good condition with nice greens. Very playable with good risk/reward. Finishing hole is great.

Customer Service

Staff is very helpful. Play is slow at times though.

Course was in great shape, although there were many pitch marks unrepaired on the greens. Great layout with 2/3rds of the course links, and the other 1/3rd traditional.

OTHER REVIEW of NOBLEHAWK
Had an opportunity to play this course on August 4,2001. Arrived at course to find out that there was a girl’s high school match being played there. After playing several holes, we (wife & myself) got backed up behind the matches. Throughout the day, we experienced watching the girls play great golf, but at a pace that would even get Bernard Langer pegged as a speedy player. I realize that competition is of great importance to these youth, but over 5 ½ hours for a round of golf is insane. On the back nine, we got to a par 4 hole where there was 5 groups playing (or waiting) on this hole. After this round, we talked to the assistant pro who apologized, but told us it was out of his hands and up to the organizers at the high school level. We kind of accepted his apologies and drove back home 140 miles away.
We had another opportunity with a stay & play package a couple weeks later to play in the area. We played Cobblestone on Saturday and had a wonderful experience at their course even being rained out after nine holes. They gave us the opportunity to finish the round early the next morning. The next morning, they sent us off on the 10th tee with no wait. We finished (a foursome) the back nine in 1¾ hours, even letting a single through.
I want to commend the staff who were very accomodating and interested in whether we had a good experience.
On Sunday, we were scheduled to play NobleHawk again. We arrived over an hour early
only to find out that we were placed behind an outing that had at least 8 groups in a shotgun start. When we checked in at the pro shop, the assistant didn’t quite know where he was going to put us. He told us we would start on the front nine, but would probably get stuck behind a shootout starting at the 10th tee. After sitting around for a while, we listened to several people complaining about the 5 hour round they had just finished.
At this time, we asked the staff to call the other course in the area (Cobblestone) to ask if they could fit us in. Cobblestone was happy to fit us in, and again was ready for us and fit us in quickly and efficiently.
Before we left NobleHawk, I had the opportunity to talk to talk with the owner, who reluctantly apologized, but was more concerned with the money 100+ outings would bring in than individual golfers. Apparently, he wants to get back his $4,000,000. investment at the expense of the ordinary golfer. Mr. Dykstra (the owner), maybe you should turn over your golf course to someone who can run it in a professional manner and stick you in a back room to keep an eye on the books. You have designed a very nice golf course, maybe you should stick to designing and leave the public relations to others who are capable. I enjoyed the course and the layout, but would definitely NOT reccommend it to the golfer who wants to play in 4 to 4 1/2 hours.I play as many courses in IN as I can and this was not the typical experience I usually get.

Customer Service

Worst customer relations I ever experienced (even with the owner)
