Shoots in the 90s
Being a local, I get to play this course 4-5 times a year. I play it reluctantly, since I've never liked the layout. To me there's only 3 interesting holes (1,8,& 9). I think it must be maintained better to get the green fees it demands during the regular season. Customer Service Staff is helpful and the restaurant is very good including the fish fry on Friday. Positive and Negative Comments: Pluses: *Interesting layout *Some challenging holes *Puts a premium on accuracy (more so than length) *Nice driving range and practice green *Nice clubhouse which has a good restaurant *The owners seem to be making improvements *Reasonable price- I paid a $20.00 twilight rate for 18-holes walking on a Saturday Minuses: *Course conditions could be better-tees and fairways could be cut closer *High amount of play results in some bumpy greens Customer Service Customer service is good. The folks in the pro shop are courteous and helpful. |
