Course conditions excellent for a city-owned course. Most of the time, putts true and quick (day we played, greens had been aerated probably a 12-14 days earlier, some bumpy spots). Combination of long and short par fours and fives will TRULY make you use every club in your bag.

Par threes are all somewhat long. Shortest is 165 yards from the tips. Has been accused of impersonating a private or high-priced public course with it''s clientele, customer service, and price.

Played a scramble here, from the Blues, plays much longer than from the whites (well, obviously, but quite a bit longer). Only about 6100 yards with only 1-2 par fours over 400 yards, and one par five at only 445. From the blues, one par at 425 yards, three more over 400. Pick your tees accordingly, can play up or down to your ability level. Mostly flat, though designed Bill Diddel, Indiana native designer who eschews large elevated tees AND greens. So a couple elevated tees and greens rise above Indiana countrside. Built in 1962, has some maturing trees lining the fairways, some narrow fairways, lots of doglegs.
