The back nine. Green conditions in general.

Front nine is a joke compared to the back. Back nine in little better shape.

I grew up off the 11th hole of this Country Club. The front and the back nine's are nothing alike. Grip it and rip it on the front nine off the tee. Most of the fairways are wide open with little O.B. With the exception of #5, the front nine is meant to be scored on. Back nine is completely different. Very tight and narrow off the tee. Many houses line the fairways and accuracy is everything. I only hit driver off on 18. The 16th hole at LSCC is one of the hardest you'll ever play..believe me. Make sure you get the ball on the right side of the fairway or even the right rough on this hole or you'll be lucky to make bogey. Course is in great shape these days. Jim Naudet, Superintendant, has turned the conditions around in the last 5 years and has made Leawood South a very respectable golf course in the Kansas City area.
