Shoots in the 80s

This course is in really bad shape. They can't keep members because of the way it is being ran into the ground. hey used to charge 15 on weekdays and 20 on weekends, that was a stretch considering the poorly kept course. Now they charge like 27 dollars. They also charge over 900 a year just to be a member. Who do they think they are? I can play at Sterling Ks. for 12 on any day, and that course is in great shape ALL THE TIME. There membership + cart storage is about 450 a year. Go figure.

Shoot in the 70s

This course is quite short an requires accurate, precise placement from tee to green as well as a great short game. A nine hole layout, the difference between tees for the front and back nine is minimal, and only makes a difference on two holes. Overall the course features small greens, that are typically well maintained, and narrow fairways that are lined with trees. The longest par-4 on the course is in the 420 yd range, and usually plays down wind. There are two par-5s that are at or under 500 yards and are quite reachable in two. The best holes on the course are the 3 par-3s. Number 2, a 140 yard hole, is made quite difficult by the elevated, sloping two tiered green that is guarded by a deep bunker. The wind usually wrecks havoc with the tee shot, making this hole much harder than it may appear on the scorecard. Holes five and six are each 190 - 200 yds and are quite difficult. Number 5 plays across a ravine that is in play for the entire length of the hole. Three large cottonwood trees are just left of the green, and the south wind pushes the tee shot from left to right towards the ravine. Number 6 is made quite difficult by a green that is diabolically small for hole of 200 yards, and is guarded by a bunker.

Limited facilities. The pro-shop is not well stocked. The dining is often good, but it largely depends on who is managing the club at the time and quality varies widely.
