This is my hometown course. The greens are very good as are the tee off boxes. Fairways are just buffalo grass and not watered. But for a small town course it works.

The terrain. This is a nice hilly course, with lots of noise in the terrain. Not many trees, so the SW Kansas wind has a Brittish Links type effect on your play. Only 1 green on the whole course is "flat", the 4th. The rest are tricky as hell and you better stick it tight, unless you are a putting god!

The fairways. Buffalo Grass fairways make for some tough fairway shots, in some cases you are almost better off to be out in the rough. Also, not enough sand on this course. There are some terrific spots for bunkers on the 1st, 3rd, 4th, 8th, and 9th. Sand only appears on the 6th, and it makes that particular hole very difficult.

The maintainence is pretty good, great for a small town course that cannot afford a groundskeeping crew, for everyday service. The greens are some of the best small town greens I have ever seen. The tee's are the best I have ever seen!
