Shoots in the 90s

Been playing WB for the past 3 years. We always tend to play in the fall or caught it on a rainy summer day. Tomorrow we finally get to play on a nice day for once. Always have enjoyed the course. It's kind of a hidden gem in the middle of a beautiful country setting.Front nine plays kinda tight and challenging as the back nine is a totally different course that presents many challenges. Number 10 is probably the hardest hole on the course. You will have to play every club in the bag to score well here. The course is maintained well and greens are always good. The only bad experience I had is where I had to tee off on a hitting mat on the short par 3 Hole #6. Overall it ranks as a top play in Somerset. I would have to say Burnside is the prettiest course.

Customer Service

Never had a bad experience. Staff is always friendly.

Barren River state park golf course is the only course similar in my opinion. Only because of the multiple doglegs making club decision a MUST!

I have been playing Woodson Bend for nearly 20 years. This course is one of most beautiful courses in KY. Don't let the short yardage fool you, this course can be tough! The hospitality of the staff is second to none.

Customer Service

Excellent. Tim Dudley (pro) is a great host!

Shoot in the 80s

Having played many courses on the American Cancer Card, this is the best course in southern Kentucky. The fairways are in great shape and the greens actually putt how you expect them to and hold a ball. The front nine is more wide open but the back is pretty tight. Nice club house and grill are a great place to grab lunch between nines or after a round.
