Shoots in the 80s

This is one of the best courses in Lexington, in my opinion. The fairways are great and the greens are descent. The bunkers are great. This is a tough course, especially when it is windy. I usually shoot in the 80's, but when i went i shot 94, because the wind is really rough when it blows hard. It is a really long course, especially to walk, 7,012 I think from the tips. I am 14, and paid 17 dollars(Juniors rate) to walk on a weekday.

Pete Dye is Satan. The rates here are good. You can actually walk here on the weekend for 22 bucks. My advice to anyone going to play this course: If you pull into the parking lot, open the door and feel a nice breeze on your face, slam the door and pretend like somebody's about to detonate a nuke in the clubhouse. Get away!!!! Fast!!!!! This course is absolute TORTURE in the wind!!!! Conditions are excellent. If you've been playing well lately and feel pretty good about yourself, go play this course in the wind and bring yourself back to earth. I generally shoot in the mid 80s and feel like I had a rough day if I get to 90 or more. Well on this day I had a 96. I will get even.

Shoot in the 70s

The course was definetly one of the best in Lexington, but needs lots of improvement to be one of the top in state. The bunkers are the only weakness that is noticible to the average JOE-SMOE, but a good golfer reconizes that the greens were decent, but had to much Poana grass that makes the ball jump around. That's why i don't think the last guy that reviewed the course putted well. And the rough is just fine, you should be penalized for hitting it in the rough. I didn't lose any balls the lowest it let me put was 1-2. shot 74.

Shoot in the 80s

Kearney Hill Golf Links is one of the best courses in Kentucky to me. It is very fun. I did not play well when I was out there but still hard a great time. The rough is hard to get off of. The fairways are in great condition and so are the greens. The greens are very undulating and quick. I did not putt well there. The staff is very nice. I did not like the playing partner i got but that's not the courses fault. He smelled so bad!

Shoot in the 80s

This is a very challenging course with quite a bit of water on the back nine. Plenty of sand. Keeping the ball in the fairway is important to score well on this course. My overall choice for best course in Lexington.
