The course is seldom crowded and the fees are unbelievably low ($8 except Sunday afternoons around 4 p.m. when they are $5).

After all, it is a municipal course. Because of limited funds, the course is not in the condition of a top-notch private facility, but they do well with what they have.

This nine-hole public course is in good playing condition, probably because of the damp conditions throughout the summer and the fall. It is scenic and slightly hilly. Fairways are generally tree-lined. There are several sand traps and few bunkers.
