Long and short par 3's and 4's and has a great deal of difficult shots for the more addvanced player. A beautiful view of Kentucky! Very nice greens as far as hold and readabillity.

Has a great deal of rough spots in the fairways and tee boxes need help. Also, Very easy to lose balls on the right side of the course with an errant tee shot, but on the left side of course your ball will kick out. Right side is a creek lined with trees and left side is a mountain lined with trees.

This is a solid course cut right out of the hills or Kentucky. The course is a 9 hole course with an aveage of about 3200 yards of playability. They are currently doing some work on the 3rd hole. It was a dog leg par 5 about 430 yards. Now it is a brisk par 4 only about 260. Over all the course is challenging ranging from a 17 handicap par 4 to a 1 handicap par 5. A very enjoyable course for someone who like to walk. Also very inexspensive. 12$ on the weekdays for 18 and 15$ on the weekends. There are only about 10 sand traps on the whole course and one fairway bunker. The greens and the fringe are in great shape, the ball really sticks. But, the same cannot be said about the fairways and tees, they are preety rough. The management told me that they are making ever efort to change that by moving the tee boxes around daily and makeing a strict 90* rule for the fairways. I would tell anyone who was in the Morehead area to check out this course for a little fun.
