Shoots in the 90s

A very nice course with 3 9-hole courses to choose from. fairways are all fairly tight, and overall length not too great. many trees are in play. if you can't stay in the fairway, better bring lot's of extra balls. the greens are some of the best kept in the central Texas area, and the pro shop has the best selection in the Killeen/Temple area. i like this course much better than the "country club" in Temple. the only down side is the difficulty to get on Ft Hood to play, since security is much tighter following 9/11.

Shoots in the 90s

This course is practically in my backyard, but it's worth a reasonable drive to go play it. It's pretty much a links-style course - but a fair amount of contour in the terrain. Not too much sand (thank goodness), but water comes into play on many of the holes. I especially like the greens - they're generally quite large, but fast and very undulating. Overall, a decent challenge for most golfers.

Shoots in the 90s

This links style is course has wide and inviting fairways. Bring your driver and let it rip! This is a fun course that while not as visually appealing as some of the north Houston courses, at least you don't have to play through houses. Water is in play on several holes. The greens always seem to be in excelent shape and the fairways are green pretty much year round. As was mentioned in an earlier review, if you hit out side the fairway it is as hard as a rock.

Shoot in the 90s

The course is virtually all links style and the wind seems to always be in play. The layout is nothing that I can get too excited about, but it's still fun to play and offers just enough challenge to recommend it for at least one try. I've played it four times and have always found it to be in good shape.

Shoot in the 80s

This course is probably fit for people that shoot in the low 80's. I would say that the course could be improved a lot but it's still a pretty good course. The greens and fairways are good, but when you get outside the fairway the ground is hard and terrible. The bunkers are in good shape and there is a good portion of water on the course. The tees are in good condition too. I think this is an easier course than most of the ones that I've played.

A fun golf course, although many of your tee shots demand accuracy off the tee box. This course has hard fairways, so the balls tend to travel a bit longer. Nice Greens and the last 3 holes are very demanding (accuracy off the tee box).
Like I said, a fun course.
