This course condition was exceptional during the drought year of 2007. The greens were kept in great shape, though they tended to be on the slow side. It's a pretty course out in the backwoods- it's not unusual to spot wildlife there. Soft spikes are required.

The course is in pretty good condition in the peak of the golf season. It is kept up nicely. The greens are in very good condition. The greens are fast and small in comparison to other courses I have played at. All of the par-5's are reachable. The course is not the hardest place I have ever played, but it has it's share of fun golf holes. The par-3 13th is the signature hole at Woodford Hills. It requires a 165 yard tee-shot over water to a lighting fast green. Tip: DO NOT HIT IT ON THE BACK OR OVER THE GREEN. It is almost impossible to par the hole if you flew the green. You may even take a double if your second roles into the water.
