Beautiful course, & more forgiving after Katrina. Greens were immaculate, best in the area. Renovated bunkers, and range/practice area are big pros. We enjoyed course enough to change plans and play twice over holiday weekend. Still in south Louisiana though, so the uninitiated in our group tended to wilt on the back. Take an extra towel, as it'll be hot, and be sure to play the bonus 19th!

Money Hill is the best Golf Course in Louisiana, hands down! From the breathtaking elevation changes to the challenging design, I have not yet found a course that surpasses it. The greens are in beautiful condition (the gentleman reporting from New York below was obviously there when the greens were being rebuilt, but they have matured wonderfully now!). The practice facility is another tremendous assest. I believe it is over 30 acres and is also home to the Rob Noel Golf Academy. Money Hill is truly a championship course. If you ever have the chance to play it, don't pass it up the opportunity!

Customer Service

Exceptional! They were friendly, knowledgeable, and very proffesional!

There's a 19th hole that justs out into the lake which is great to use for a tiebreaker or as a way to challenge your buddies after enjoying a drink or two at the bar!

Plain disappointing. The course is full of potential, but anyone who doesn't want to waste their time and money shouldn't bother. Besides it's remote location (even the staff admits everyone gets lost) the course could be so much more. True, the terrain does not resemble typical Louisiana, but who cares? The greens are in horrific condition (they even plan on replacing them all later in 2003) and each hole seems to resemble the other. Their is no creativity or shot making required on the course. They even shut down one of the par 5's and added a short par 3-which true to form wasn't provided a yardage. Lack of signage, lack of management, and a ridiculous greens fee left our experience severely lacking. In summary two words: NEVER AGAIN.

There was a reason that this was named by Golf Digest and Golf Magazine as the Top new Golf course in 2000. It is absolutely stunning in beauty and the course is certainly one of the top 5 courses in the the Southern United States and #1 in Louisiana without a question. The terrain is almost mountainous with its elevation changes (110 feet to sea level) which is gigantic for the State of Louisiana.

Flat-out great golf course. Standing on #10 tee you think you''''re in the mountains of North Carolina rather than in Louisiana. Bring your whole game - lots of elevation changes. Very new tract, but because it was carved out of a forest, it looks mature. Maybe the best pratice facility in the state.
