Shoots in the 80s

This is a very short course that''s a boost to the ego. The course only plays to around 5,800 yards, so length is not challenging. What is challenging is the well placed canal (they call it Hurricane Creek), and the tiny greens. Your iron play has to be very precise to hit the greens, which are very well manicured, although pretty slow. The canal is placed in such a manner that it takes driver out of your hand on several holes. This is a par 70 course with all 3 par 5s on the back 9. It also features 5 par 3s, which is a nice change. The course is kept up very well (much better conditioning than Webb or Dumas - other 18 hole BREC courses in the same price range). The course could not be called scenic, with a giant concrete canal running through it, and its location in an older section (read ghetto) of town.

Customer Service

Decent.
