Shoot in the 70s

Olde Oaks is only about 2 years old. Excellent 27 hole design. 2 of the 9's meander through woods and up and down hills, and the 3rd 9 is a links style layout. Many memorable holes, only about 2 mediocre holes. Greens have not been in good condition, but I was pleasantly surprised 2 weeks ago, the greens were in good condition. Lots of sand, water, rough, and undulating greens to make it tough, but the fairways are wide and generous. Huge tee boxes and greens. You may end up with a 100' putt. Overall, a great course that is worth going out of your way to play. When the greens are 100%, it will be an awesome course. Despite newness of course, it is currently undergoing extensive renovations under the guidance of Hal Sutton, but only one 9 at a time, so there are always 18 holes open. Some of Hal's memorabilia is on display in the clubhouse. The big guy practices there frequently when he is in town.
