Shoot in the 80s

I stumbled upon this course while visting friends in maine and I was pleasantly surprised to find such a challenging and beautiful course with views of mountains at every angle- I swear I could see Mt.Washington. The clubhouse was serviceable with snacks, some clothing and cold beer, but the real quality lies in the front side. The lay out was the most beautiful and challenging that I have seen on a public course and was comparable to some of the finest I have played. Granted the maintenence could have used a boost but I blame that on the Maine weather! Upon reaching the backside I was both disappointed and relieved to find a much shorter and less challenging course. After the mental fatigue I occurred from searching for lost balls on the first side it was a pleasant change to see short, open holes-- not to mention a nice pick me up for my scorecard. All in all it was a very enjoyable round of golf, the manager of the course Al Biondi even gave me a free round for the next time I am in town. You can bet I'll be back!

Customer Service

The staff was great- very enjoyable and we were made to feel very welcome. They made sure that we went off right at our tee time-- which we had just made.
