Played this course for the first and last time, what a ripoff. The course was in really!!! bad condition. Fairways with months of unattended divots and hard pack from no regular water, as hard as rock. Bunkers unmaintained, rocks and no rakes. Tees, unlevel, not maintained with ashes istead of grass as top dressing. The course design required several par 4 layups to avoid water, marsh and 90' doglegs (unless you hit 310yrd drives around corners). Greens were not bad. Overall, back 9 better than front.(not saying much)

Customer Service

The course sucked but the people were fine. They know were they work and why it's in that condition. My sense was they'd change things if they could.

I really haven't played a course in that bad of condition since irrigation became standard.

The course was terrible! I played this course on 7/19/10, the fairways were bad, and the greens were worse! I have played this course in years past and it was great, not any more, I will take it off my play list.

Customer Service

After my round I complained to the pro shop and they could care less!

Conditions of the course were horrible. Extremely wet. Pro Shop staff and rangers were extremely rude.

Customer Service

Awful Awful Awful. Rude in the pro shop, on the course, and in the restaurant afterwards. Will never play this course again.

We also played at the Links in South Berwick and was a much better course and helpful, friendly staff.

Played last Tuesday and conditions were great. I'm not a great golfer but I love this place. Greens keep getting faster. Heard that they lowered weekday rates. Hope that doesn't make it too busy as this place is one of my favs.

Customer Service

Excellent...Noticed lots more smiling, helpful young people in the clubhouse this year. Prefer the young to the old, makes me feel young. New (to Dunegrass) golf pro Mark Fogg was very helpful.

Wow, things certainly have changed at Dunegrass! I last played the course in 2002 and have fond memories but today the course has definitly gone downhill. The fairways are chewed up (there are divot boxes everywhere but they are empty!). Its obvious to me that they have been letting the course go. The greens are loaded with chunks and the 15th fairway is completly dead. Very dissapointing as this course had some serious potential.

Customer Service

Was not pleased the minute I walked into the pro shop, the manager, Sharon, was on the phone literally yelling at someone that they owed her for the tee time. Not too classy. The starters were very freindly but looked as though they were beaten. The staff in the restaraunt, although a little slow, did a wonderful job. Katie and Joey were awesome.

Don't know what the big thrill is. Course is in great shape but overall only about 5 really nice holes.Distance between greens and tees to far even in a cart.Your in for a long day here.I paid off season rates. There are better courses in Maine for alot less money and more enjoyable.

It's Maine. We only get a couple of months to play. So we play as mych as possible while we can. While you're at it, be sure not to miss Dunegrass. Greens, tees and even sand traps like you've not played on in Maine. And the owner is clearly an environmentalist. They have preserved and respected the surroundings like no one else in the state. I've been telling everybody about Dunegrass. I tell them that I have got the best kept golf secret in all of New England. And it's Dunegrass in Old Orchard Maine.

Customer Service

Wonderful

The restaurant is as good or better than any on-course dining experience in Maine and maybe all of New England.

Dunegrass is expensive for Maine... $80 w/cart... but it's awesome... Great layout, challenging, and in excellent shape... You could putt on the fairways... Played twice in Aug. '02... plan to play again this August...

This course is not just one of the top 5 courses in Southern Maine, it is one of the top five public courses in Maine period! Its greens are up there with Waterville Country Club, Sugarloaf, Belgrade, Kebo and The Ledges. It is a very challenging course, requiring accuracy off the tee if you want to have any chance of scoring well. It is truly one of the best golf gems we have here in the state. Excellent golf experience.

Customer Service

No problems that I can remember, so it must have been okay.
