Tomahawk is a pretty decent course but it has terrible drainage. the holes that are far away from the club house are especially nice.
Not the best maintained greens on the planet but they do ok I guess. Not much in the way of water hazards either which is too bad.

Arrowhead is a fairly forgettable course especially the front 9 with the exception of a couple holes. It's pretty much wide open fields on the front. The back nine is pretty decent with several very nice holes.

Customer Service

This is big for me. I can play anywhere I want and I don't play Natanis much because they are simply not the friendliest people around. Your are hardly ever made to feel welcome and that bothers me. they need some serious classes on customer service (with a smile). All in all with the numnber of courses within an hour of my house, I don't play here much mainly because of the poor drainage and poor customer service.

Definitely a hidden jewel unless you're from central Maine. The new Tomahawk course is terrific... challenging enough for my low handicap partners but forgiving enough for a high handicapper to play without embarrassment. Good mix of links and more typical New England style holes, very well cared for. Pleasant, professional staff works hard to get singles and twos out without disrupting the pace (I usually play single). Make tee times well in advance for weekends... this is a deservedly popular 36 hole track!

Not a bad course. I think they're up to 54 holes now with the new links style course. It's cheap, pretty and in decent shape.

This Public club which has two 18 hole coarses to play is friendly and well run. Should call ahead for tee times as it is the most popular coarse in a fifty mile radius.
