Shoots in the 80s

Wonderful course. No two holes are the same and the course challenges you to use all your shots. Classic risk/reward course where you are rewarded for hitting the ball well but can quickly get into trouble if you miss your shot. Great views (especially #6). Staff is wonderful and went out of their way to make me feel welcome.

Customer Service

Excellent. A little slow during the peak summer months.

Shoots in the 80s

Every spring and fall myself and several friends fom Boston trek north for a weekend. We always play at Wawenock CC, the staff are wonderful people and they accomodate you in any way possible. The course has a great opening hole of about 330 yards from a highly elevated tee. The next three holes challenge all golfers, one of them a 230 yard Par 3! The sixth hole is a very pretty hole which tempts long hitters to bomb one but there's trouble surrounding the green front, right and rear. I really enjoy this course.

Shoot in the 90s

Wowenack is a nine hole course set on the Maine coast. Unfotunately, during the time that I played there the temperatures on the greens were 105+ degrees. Still, the greens being hard as cement aside, it was a nice round. The clubhouse itself is set as victorian old style and sits on a hill across the street from the actual course.
