Everything in the previous reviews are true: cop cars/heli, cars roaring up and down the road about 100ft from the fairway, cats. Only thing that was not seen was the mopeds driven throught the bunker, but I played early in the morning so maybe that is why. GPS on carts. Greens are fast and much better than the other courses owned by the city. Good value.

I have played on many golf courses but nothing tops Clifton Park. I agree with all previous writers about the course except for one thing: yall missed the cats roaring across the fairway and across sand traps on mopeds and the fact that not all paths lead to the appropriate holes. Great ghetto golf experience though nad it makes you appreciate the better courses.

Customer Service

Pretty good

Clifton park is a remarkably splendid course, rich in charisma, style, and charm. The course has the gps safety system installed on every cart just in case you're shot while playing. You can either buy beer at the clubhouse or, after hole 7, do the hundred yard sprint to the liquor whole on the corner. The stunning ambiance of thier signature hole 12 offers such delightful urban distractions as police helicopters, ambulances, open exhasut pipes, the ice cream man bells, inner city types yelling at the top of there lungs, kids walking accross the fairway giving you the "go ahead and hit me stare" and the delightful aroma of poverty all around you. Parking is very close to the clubhouse which is very convenient, especially when your car is still there after your round. Note to golfers, better to leave while still good daylight, don't push into dusk just for one more hole.

I wasn't offered any sexual favors, but golfing in the city is a hilarious, challenging, and rewarding experience. I loved this course. The price at $12 w/ cart was amazing (I got in 15 holes). Watching your ball bounce off Rt. 147, laughing as people ride their bike across the fairway, sand bunkers near the greens, this course has it all. Challening for the average golfer looking to improve their accuracy. I'm from Ohio, and golfing on a course of this quality for the price will keep me away from the prissy $30+ courses until I get the hell outta this state.

Clifton Park is a quintessential Baltimore golf experience. First, this is the best deal you'll ever get on a golf course. A round with a cart was less than 20 bucks. And while there are some views of the city skyline worthy of the tourism brochure, there is also the gritty reality of the city. On the uphill approach to one hole, you will be amazed as cars and trucks come zooming over a hill directly behind the green. Sometimes you might have to find your ball among a mass of blowing wrappers. I know a guy whose 70-year-old father was offered sexual favors by a woman standing just off the fairway on number 9. You can't get that at Augusta.

Customer Service

Nice pro shop and snack bar. And the old guy who is the starter isn't all that cranky, a rarity at any golf course.

After having driven past this golf course for nearly ten years, I finally played it. Being new to the sport, I noticed that the course is kept very neat and clean. The computerized carts made it very easy for such a rookie as me to keep score and even see how far I was from the green. The price was very reasonable and I plan to make Clifton Park one of my regular places to frustrate myself in this game of golf.

The snack bar in the middle of the course had some good variety and fresh sandwiches.
