We played Patriot Glen on Sunday August 1, 2010 and it was in horrible condition. The fairways and greens were burned up. Although they discounted the regular green fee of $65.00 to $45.00, it was not worth playing there for free. We had victory golf passes for $45.00 and they did not discount the fee any further. We traveled over an hour and a half for sheer disappointment. The pro shop employee should be a little more truthful in rendering how bad the course conditions are. The bartender was kind enough to give us complimentary rounds. It will take a good year to make that course playable. Very disappointed for a course that advertises its one of the top ten in the area.

Didnt enjoy this course. We had a 9:10 Tee time and the greens were left wet from the dew. The course also has many blind approach and drives many which require prior course knowledge. The rough was about 5-6 inches long; too long for recreational golf. All of these things combined for a 4:45 minute round with much of the time spent looking just off the fairway for your ball; or watching the group ahead of you look for their ball.

Wonderful course. Great balance of fun and challenge. Greens are medium speed. Landing areas are fair. Not overly tight but you'll be penalized eventually if you are wild. Houses are not too close (but they are still developing.) Course is well maintained. Practice green is nothing much and driving range is a little rough.
