I played with my father in law last weekend and was extremely impressed with the condition of the golf course. The greens were absolutely perfect and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Great course and modern layout, and amazing greens. The average round is 4.36 hrs but that can easily strech to 5+hrs. The practice range was not up to daily fee standards. Not worth the $145. rate. Try White Clay Creek in De, a 25 min. drive for $70.00.

Customer Service

Outside and counter were good but the GM is clueless. The pace of play is a joke.

Played this course a week before the LPGA championship so, needless to say it was imaculate. The layout is great and very pleasing to the eye. However, if you do not put it in the fairway you will pay, the rough was an absolute killer. Practice area was great as well, Range was good but a little to huge for my taste. Would gladly play this course again, and know that I have played it once i am sure i will score better the next time. Also, i agree with one of the other reviewers in that there is really no need for the stopwatches on the carts.

Customer Service

From moment one till the time you leave, the could not have been any better.

Excellent lay-out and great conditioning. Back tees can challenge the best but middle tees are fair to average golfer. One of the best public access courses in the country.

Customer Service

First rate. Could not be better. Take a caddy if you get the chance.

From the moment we made our tee time,to the time our clubs were loaded into our car at the end of the day.We knew we were dealing with a first class operation. The staff was spot on. From tee to green the conditions were excellent. The layout is one of the best I've played. Every hole is different and requires precise shot making. Really loved the place and would play again if it were $90 to $100. This is a great course, but not $145.oo great. There are plenty of courses within 50 miles that are almost as nice (without the pampering)but way cheaper. Had my kicks there today but won't be back.

Awesome Course. Just got back from pebble beach and I would say Bulle Rock rates right up there with pebble. Worth the 145 bucks to play there. Definately would return over and over.

Course was in great shape, and the layout is extremely apealing to the eye. It is truly a challenge for any level golfer based upon which tees are played. The greens were some of the best I have played in this area. Fairways always provided a "perfect lie".

Customer Service

CUSTOMER SERVICE. The service was extremely poor on the day I played (5 July 2003). The staff was not helpful and seemed very uncaring as to whether you played their course or not. The carts have "stop watches" on them to monitor your play, this is totally unneeded. Most if not all golfers willing to pay $145.00 for a round of golf are aware of what "pace of play" means. I would not play this course again, mainly based on "customer service", there are numerous quality courses in this area averaging $90 to $150 that I have play that provide a great golf experience and tremendous customer service. It might have just been a bad day for the staff....but it only takes one bad day to lose a customer!

I recently played after a week of steady rain. To say the course played long was an understatement. The course was immaculate and the staff professional.I have had the oppurtunity to play several top notch courses over the years and this one may be the best.If you do not have a handicap under 12 do not play from the blues or tips. I will return.

Customer Service

Very friendly and hospitable. All my needs were attended to without having to ask.

Best known course in northern Maryland. Tough all the way around. Long and penal. No matter how I play here, I'm exhausted by the end of the round. Greens are fast and true. The staff is always great as well. The main problem with the course is pace--More often than not 20 handicappers play off the blue or black tees, spend 20 minutes looking for lost balls and lining up putts for double bogeys. $145.00 entitles you to play you're own way, but speding 6+ hours on a single round is ridiculous. I've played the course over 10 times and have finished under 5 hours once. The course doesn't help out by keeping the rough fairly high--I can understand if there's a tournament around the corner, but routinely keeping it around 3 inches just kills the pace.

Customer Service

good, would be great if the rangers pushed things along a bit

A find course, always in great condition. The maintenence staff does a first rate job keeping the fairways, rought and greens in tip top condition. The difficulty one will find with Bulle Rock is not the length of the fairways, although one should be prepared for long drives, but the greens. The greens are very large and an accurate shot to the pin is required. The club house is large and staffed by a very professional crew. You can even get your shoes cleaned and recleated in the locker room before you tee off.
A bit expensive but you sure get what you pay for.

Customer Service

Tee times are easy to make. I would point out that this course is played mostly by corporations and their guests. Monday through Friday are busy days but the weekends are relatively open.
