Worthington is a great course for the $. Each of the holes are interesting and it is in good shape for a public course. The front is a bit crowded with the Death Valley ( each of the holes had a name which our group found entertaining) Hole #3 starting a 4 hole string where the holes are so close to one another that you feel you're taking your life in your hands with balls zinging bye a shouts of "four" almost every minute.. Outside this group of holes things are pretty smooth. The back 9 with a par 5 610 yard hole followed by a 250 yard par 3 is a challenge for anyone. The course is not overly tight but stray shots will be true trouble in or behind trees. The round took our foursome 4 hours and 35 minutes on a Sunday at 8:20 AM. On the downside you could not use pullcarts and the greens were so close to the tees that quiet on the tee was near impossible..

Easy to walk on, reasonable price, very fast pace of play! The course is well designed - challenging, but very playable for the average golfer. Greens are in decent shape, as are fairways.

My only complaint of the course is that the greens are pretty small. On the upside, I putt less because I'm always chipping on from within a few yards, but I like a green I have a chance of hitting with a reasonably hit mid-iron. Course maintainance is fair, but reflects the fact that the course isn't heavily played

A diamond in the rough I just discovered this year... A welcome relief to the overcrowding of the county courses in Baltimore, the course has it's difficulties, but is always an enjoyable round. Take every club in the bag, you're going to need them!

This course is a hidden treasure. Never crowded and easy to walk. You really need to know the course to know where to place the ball and play well.

The course has been getting better year after year. Easy to walk on if need be and the best hot dogs known to man. Challenging 6oo yd par 5 and some challenging par 3's
