Shoots in the 80s

To preface; I used to work here in high school and it was my home course for the golf team.

I absolutely love both courses, the Lakes is definitely easier, shorter and cheaper, but the back 9 of the River course is absolutely beautiful and fun...just make sure that driver is working. Yes the course is expensive for weekend play but they really put a lot of effort into the upkeep of the course as well as the content of their customers.

Played the River Course. A nice layout in great shape overall, however the greens could be better. Great view on holes 2 and 14. Flat course with some forced carries. Large distance between some greens and tees.

Average practice facilities. Clubhouse could be better as Proshop and lounge are in same room.

Well maintained, but the WORST layout I've ever seen!!! It is a big hike, (I'm guessing over 1/2 mile sometimes) between the holes, meaning that if you want to walk, which is how the game is SUPPOSED to be played, your in for a long haul. They should have put more thought into the design, because it is a shame that this nice of a location has to have that bad of a design... Go about 10 miles down 50 into Easton, and play Hog Neck, a much better course!

This is a links style course on fairly flat land, but it is very challenging with a lot of risk reward. Many people absolutely adore the course and there is a lot to love. There are a lot of bunkers and a fair amount of water and plenty of places to get into trouble. The layout is very creative considering the flat terrain.

There are two (2) courses here - the River and Lakes. Both are outstanding, but I find the Lakes more enjoyable (plus it's cheaper).

A must play if you are visiting the Annapolis area. Also a perfect play on the way to Ocean City, Maryland.
