Shoots in the 80s
Course has an interesting feel because you have to drive through a golf community to get to the clubhouse. Clubhouse was fairly nice although restaurant wasn't really running and it took a while for someone to wait on me. Pro shop was decent but rather small. The practice facilities were average with a putting green and driving range. Course conditions were great when I played and the course layout was nice. Although, being a course tucked inside a golf community it almost seemed like too much of a crammed together course with holes just yards from each other in some spots. Customer Service 6 out of 10 for the lack of service in restaurant. Similar Products Used: good course, vacationers beware though, this one is made for the locals! |

Atrocious conditions! Apologetic starters tried to explain that they "sprigged the course with bermuda grass" and that everything else was dead. It was clear that the new plantings hadn't taken and every fairway was dead, matted and saturated with weed killer. Also, none of this explains the dandelions in the tee boxes and other planting areas, the patchy rough or the general state of disrepair of the clubhouse and facilities. All this is doubly sad because the actual layout is gorgeous, but the conditions completely undo that. Pass on this one... nearly every course in greater OC is a better bet! Customer Service Decent but not enough to make up for the conditions. Similar Products Used: Filthy clubhouse restrooms, generally rundown appearance. |
