Shoots in the 80s

This course has been said to have been one of the best in PG county. It's now one of the worst. The layout is actually very interesting and has water on many of the holes. The fairways are are in terrible condition and it's not because of the weather but rather poor upkeep. For the exact same price or maybe a little cheaper, The Marlton Golf Course, about 10min south, is in much better condition.

Customer Service

No problems here. The people are usually pretty nice. There are no golf cart girls or anything like that.

greens are kept, but you can tell they dont go out of their way to make them excellent, they could be much nicer. Fairways are some of the worst Ive seen, very narrow, and short, kind of a challenge if you dont hit a straight ball off the tee. Talking about tee boxes, these are most horrible. If you are going to play in Maryland, stay away form here...

A nice layout for a semi private type club. The course is in good over all condition but they have recently changed their course supervisor. The fairways are a bit narrow and short. The greens putt true but are marred by lots and lots of ball marks(HEY!! fix your ball mark). The tee boxes are always in bad condition, they need to change the markers more often. They have just redone all of the traps this year(Spring 2000) which is great because the old traps were full of rocks and hard pan. This course is always busy and 5 hour rounds of golf are not unheard of, so beware.

Customer Service

Customer service is none existent. You pay your money and get in line to tee off. No starter so games at the 1st tee are the rule not the exception. Tee times are not hard to make but be sure to ask if there is a club league or outting in progress, they don't volunteer this info.

The restaurant is best avoided. There is more offten than not, no coffee early in the morning. The menue is OK but you don't always get what it says. I ordered a Rubin and it was served cold on untoasted bread with semi hard cold cheese. The golf shop has a smattering of odds and ends but nothing worth buying unless you want a lgo ball. The range is horrible! You cannot use woods and if you are a long hitter forgetr about your 3 iron. Townhouses at the end of the range are very reachable. Warning the range is just to the left of the number one hole, so be on the look out for stray shots.
