Good course for the beginner. Very well maintained for a public city golf course. greens fee are very fair. play is a bit slow. pro shop is small but has an excellent selection. Hole 8 is my favorite. it's a par 3 over water. the course has gone through major renovations this past year- bunkers are very nice now. greens are fair. this is definitely the practice course to play. players are generally biginner to intermediate level. a course worth playing.

Customer Service

great only if you're a "towny."

This course is alright for a 9 hole city course. The staff was a little rude and wouldn't let me on the course at 7:15pm to play a few holes for no good reason. Play George Wright if you want the best public Boston city course.

Not a bad course for a Muni. Considering its jammed into a few acres in the city its quite well designed. The only flaw is it has 3 par 3's but 2 out of the 3 are really nice, the 3rd is REALLY long. Setup to move people thru. Hard to get a tee time... good for a single.

Customer Service

okay

The clubhouse is sparse...no bar or practice facilities... a tiny pitch and putt... but its okay.

Best city course. Well maintained for the amount of traffic and abuse this course takes. Course is fun to play and great for unwinding in the evening. Sometimes can be slow, but at least you didn't drive an hour to get there. Location, location, location.

This course was layed-out for the golfer who doesn't want to think at all when they golf...With the exception of the second hole (dogleg left) you have no choice on where to play the ball,or what club you can use. It is the most unimaginitive and boring course i have ever played !The greens were like i was putting in a CATBOX and i spent more time waiting than i did actually playing. If your not a member and you get down the proshop before the sun comes up,you might have a chance at getting in 9 holes before the sun sets...I will never-EVER play this course again by choice !

Customer Service

unless the staff know you,you will grow cobwebs before they ask you if you need help.

This course is considered one of the best maintained course in Boston area. It's a 9 hole course, perfect for afterwork play or a fun play. First hole is straight forward, no big deal. Second hole is a dogleg to the left, but watch for the rough behind the green. DON'T ever land your ball in the thick long primary rough that exists there. Believe me, you're not going to like it. Hole 8 is one of my favorite. We have to shoot over a pond, a par 3 hole. Big chance for birdie. Green is not very hard to play, tee box is adequately maintained as well.
