Shoots in the 80s

This is a beautifully maintained and user-friendly course outside of Springfield, Ma. I played in early September after almost a month of no rain, yet the course was plush and actually wet in places. Not a single brown spot. HUGE greens, undulating and challenging to putt. Yardage from the blues is challenging as well. The fairways were wide and immaculate, as were the tee boxes. However there are some issues. Not knowing the course we chose to walk. Big mistake. Almost every other hole plays through a deep valley so it is a very difficult trek. Be sure you are in good shape if you decide to walk. Further, to make it even more strenuous, there are no benches at any of the tee boxes, if only to catch your breath, nor is there a drop of drinking water out on the course. Even the soda machine is out of order. If at all possible, take a cart and fill up with water before you go out. It is a fun course to play and the price was very reasonable.

Customer Service

Very friendly people, although there should be a Surgeon's General warning about walking the course if you are anything other than a tri-athlete.
