Slow play at this course every weekend even at this time of the year. Greens haven't been swept of leaves but fairways are in good shape for the time of year.

Customer Service

Most are friendly but there are a few who need lessons working with the public. Several starters and are on power trips, resulting in rude behavior at the first tee. On more than one occasion, several employees can be heard complaining about the club members while sitting at the bar, behind the pro shop counter or even sitting outside in parked carts.

Played in Mid August, dirt tee boxes, burnt fairways and green like shag. No distance markers on the par 3 tees, nothing on sprinkler heads in the fairways. First 9 took over 3 hours, and only after groups quit after the front, did the back side play faster. All around bad day.

Customer Service

Ranger came screaming down the fairway in his cart in the middle of my back swing... for no apparent reason.

I go back once per year hoping conditions will improve, and they don't. Slow play kills this place. Fairway and rough grass is very deep, greens slow. It could be great, but is just average. How can the Meadow in Peabody (run by the city) have such outstanding conditons, and a privately run club fall short? When I played in the spring, paying full price, there was no water in the coolers, or rakes in the traps.

Customer Service

At times good, at times very bad.

This course is well maintained despite an earlier review. Mastery of your fairway woods is the key to busting this course wide open! Very few holes (exp. 9th & 18th holes) allow you to get in the box and crank with the driver. The 7th hole (par 3) is one of the most difficult I have played. The reason is the green is elevated and has a nice fat brook to catch shots that fall short or go slightly right! The pin position for the most part is hugging left front side of the green. It is protected by a pine tree that knocks balls deeper into the woods to the left or into the drink. Overall the course is a delight to play and tests all aspects of your game.

Customer Service

The staff are very friendly and knowlegable.

The driving range is adequate for your warm up. The practice green is great and very well maintained. A great way to warm up you chiping and putting.

Only played the back nine. Course appears in great shape for late fall golf. Greens had been swept of leaves and consistent for putting. Fairways in good shape for the time of year.

This is a very nice public course, if you drive the ball straight, you'll be fine. The par 3's are hard, only one under 182 yards. On weekdays it is a very good deal, but on weekends expect to pay quite alot.
