I play this course all the time, it's about 10 minutes away from my house. I just started golfing and I really enjoy it. For sure it's a beginner course but the back 9 can be challenging and there are a lot of par 3s so it's probably not an easy course to par out. Goose crap is still a problem in the tee boxes but you can get on pretty much anytime during the week and it's about a buck a hole.

Customer Service

People are friendly, the pro Marten is brilliant.

The course has improved a lot over the last year considering maintence. The value for the course is excellent. The back 9 is by far better than the front 9 with all the trees and hills. The front 9 needs more trees.

Shoots in the 90s

I'll start by saying that I've never played the front 9. I only golf 9 at a time, and I love the back 9, it's hilly and beautiful. Great great course for the money. Twilight hours are really cheap.

Customer Service

Just fine in person, not so good on the phone.

They don't rent electric carts, but they do have pull carts.

Course is great for beginners. Short and wide-open layout. Not in the best of shape and plenty of goose crap. Greens in average shape. Front 9 is short. Back 9 is even shorter. Good value but many nicer courses in the area.

Customer Service

Good.

This course is a one of the cheapest in the area. It is in great shape for a city course. A lot of people play this course so it gets a lot of wear and tear. But it is maintained very well for as busy as it is.

If you live in the area, this is a great course to play. If you are visiting and are a good golfer, there are much better courses to try. If you are not so good though and like a good value, then this course is a must. The back 9 holes is more challenging and has more trees. The 9th and eighteenth holes let you tee off a wonderful downhill slope, a great way to end the day.

The train can be a distraction, but you usually can hear it coming before it could interupt a shot. The bridge construction is complete so no distraction there. I do not think that they rent carts, walking only.

Shoot in the 100s

This is a beautiful course, especially for the price. The tees, fairways, and greens are all in great shape. The only thing to watch out for is noise from passing trains or nearby bridge construction. It is just challenging enough to make it interesting, without being too frustrating. Be sure to rent a cart - it's a hard walk up and down those hills.

Customer Service

Friendly staff.
