I recently visited this course as a guest and although I was impressed with the course itself, the GM, Lee Woodruff, is a complete disgrace. He perpetuates every classicist and racist stereotype and stigma that folks like myself (who happens to be a 28 y/o white male) are trying hard to get away from in terms of golfing. I was there with a friend who happens to be black, and witnessed how this poor excuse for a GM talked down to my friend and other black players in a very disrespectful and racially charged way. I came here with the intent to join, but after seeing how pathetic the GM was, I decided against it. My friend is planning to make a formal complaint about this guy to their corporate office. Sadly enough, it's only the GM who acted this way. The rest of the staff were okay. If you care anything about respect and justice (which everyone should), avoid this golf course. Sorry, but I didn't grow up to be racists, and I had friends of all colors, shapes, sizes, and shades growing up, so this bothers me, probably more so than others, especially as a young lawyer.
