Even though we got a good deal on the price, I would not play here again. The course was in pretty bad shape and it was only June. The carts paths were all torn up and pretty rough. The sand traps had grass growing in them. The greens were VERY slow and not even close to what a course should be like in "golf mecca" Gaylord. Just not maintained.

Customer Service

OK. The pro shop had not received the fax from Golf18 and was unaware that we had a tee time. However no one else was there (weekday around 11 am). so we had no problem getting on.

The course seemed to be neglected. Cart paths in very poor shape. So visually there was little to be desired. The greens were horrible. I am not sure what grass they use but I have never been on a course in northern Michigan with greens this slow. Even the ranger remarked about it. He also mentioned that he worked at both Marsh Ridge and The Natural and did not play the Natural very often. Gotta say, i would not return here-even with the discounted cost. Wasn't worth my time. Both my husband and I are not the greatest of golfers but we certainly are not hacks. When traveling to a "golf mecca" of Michigan, I expect more and would gladly pay more for a better experience.

Customer Service

Had made a tee time via an online discount provider 3 days prior to tee time. According to the pro shop, they were not informed. However, thankfully there were no other golfers around and we were accommodated quickly. Good service in this regard.

pretty nice course and not overly difficult. i went in the fall so the condition was not great but what course in michigan is during this time. the par 3's are easy here i think i used a sandwedge on 3 of them. there are definetly some difficult holes here though. not too many hazards and the greens are fair.decent value id consider play it again if i was in the area.

Customer Service

good service, girl in the pro shop was nice and very knowledgeable. our group was one of 6 or 7 on the course and the ranger was basically folloiwng us around watching our every move, kind of weird

Very difficult yet fair golf course. Greens will hold the ball & will put true. Average speed for putting. My 2nd favorite course in the Gaylord area.
