A-Ga-Ming has cool golf courses. Play the "Sundance" if you can only play one course. Its in great shape and the Torch course is a little old fashioned and not as well conditioned. I would rate it a 4 of 5 just becasue there are so many better courses that are nearby. I would suggest looking into Shanty Creek or Hawkseye if your looking for a stay and play but overall A-ga-ming is a nice track but would probably not play it again

Views of Torch Lake. Interesting holes. Many changes in elevation.

A long where from nowhere. If you're staying there, bring what you need cuz it's a 20 minute drive into town. No real restaurant to eat in.

Sporty little course. Great views of Torch Lake. Offers many discounts - like the Golf Card. We've stayed in the condos there overlooking the course - not a bad deal for the money.

View from patio of clubhouse is absolutely the best in Michigan. Little Traverse Bay is right up there though. Driving range is beautiful, golfers teeing off grass into a huge bowl.

Weak architecture and green/bunker layouts. Routing needs to be revamped.

The overall condition of course has improved over the years. This used to be a small unknown northern course. The architecture of the layout and the green/bunkers is quite unremarkable. It is an enjoyable course to play, but don't stray from the fairway far or your ball is gone in thick forest or low wetlands.

The great hype of this course is the view of Torch Lake only seen from a few holes. The view is awesome though. This course is quite busy during the holiday weekends and through marketing efforts brings in good traffic from July thru October. The price is steep compared to what you get in the Boyne area for a similar green fee.

I understand they are reworking the course layout, but without major renovations i would only rank this course a 5-6 out of 10.
