There is something about this course that is missing, and I think I know what it is. For the most part it is layed out nicely, like the previous poster said, you use most of the clubs in your bag and there are decision making holes that make or break a round.

The only real gripe I have with this course is the greenskeeping. The fairway and rough are basically the same length, which is something that just bugs me personally. The greens are off and on whether or not they are going to be cut or like putting on a shag carpet of sort.

Anyways, worth a play if you are bored and in the area. I wouldn't make a long trip to play it, but I play it for the twenty minute drive I have to get there.

Customer Service

Great, friendly people in the clubhouse.

Shoots in the 90s

It's not a bad course, but it has some quirks. The 1st, 2nd, and 3rd holes are very close to train tracks, and it can be unnerving when you're lining up a putt when a huge freight train literally comes roaring by. Once you get into the wooded part of the course its less noticable. When I played there, the green on the 9th tee was terrible, it looked more brown than green. The greenskeeper said they had a sprinkler malfunction and so the green got sunburnt as a result. Its a 9 hole course, and I used every club in my bag save my sand wedge. The course is out in the country, so it wasn't really busy even on a gorgeous Saturday afternoon. That alone put my rating higher than I would've given the course.
