I won a trophy here. The company was hosting their "Golferoo" at Sundance and I was hot! Well...I was swinging...alot. I received the trophy for the most swings (ie: high score) - I consider that an emblem of dedication.

The course itself was generic - I thought. I wowed a few folks blasting out of a sand trap - and many applauded my shot over a large tree 10 yards in front of the hole.

I have written a review for this course already but it is just so flat out unbelievable that I have to write another to persuade any naysayers to visit this legendary track. The course greets you with towering imported California Redwoods that seem to speak into your soul as if to say, "Wow, I am glad that I was imported from California and placed on this majestic course that the world will come to cherish as the penultimate experience in all of golf and they will be in awe and it will be good." When the trees speak for themselves, one must know that something great is stirring amongst the woodland depths that encroach the evergreen edges of the property. Once you navigate your way through the gargantuan tree lined terrace, you will immediately lose your breath at the sight of the amazing piece of architecture that is the Sundance clubhouse. Your breath may escape you for good so be wary and hold steadfast when attempting to chase your breath down, as you will need it to live because it is a necessary part of life, and capture it and commence in the enjoyment that will ensue when playing the course. The course layout could be likened to that of the greatest courses this world has ever seen. Augusta National comes to mind with Pebble Beach coming in a close second. What more is there to say than that you must play this course before you die or you will not get into heaven because God changed the rules for getting into heaven. No longer is it about Jesus, but rather it is about playing and worshiping and, most importantly, developing a relationship with the course of Sundance.

All I have to add here is a simple "thank you" to the lovely gentlemen that served me whilst I visited this truly awe-inspiring place. I can't recall their names, but I can distinctly remember their features. One young man had less than favorable skin and the other had big hair and smallish hands. Nevertheless, they were wonderful individuals that only added to my experience. If you stumble across them when you visit, because you will visit if you want to get into heaven remember, make sure to tip them generously . I am sure that they will eventually be known as the greatest human beings this world will have ever known.

Flat out unbelievable. Everyone working had a smile on their face and was eager to serve you for the day. One of the cart girls even offered to massage my feet, but I politely declined. In retrospect, I should have accepted.

A gem in the rough. This course should be heralded with the likes of St. Andrews and Augusta National. Just the greatest piece of property this side of the Atlantic.

Outstanding people ready and willing to help you make your day truly special. The staff is very diverse including people of all races and ethnicities working at every imaginable position the course offers. Unbelievable service.
P.S. Kraig and Kurt do an outstanding job manning the pro-shop and should be tipped generously.
