This course is now called Montgomery National. We were looking forward to playing here, as the reviews were good and the price was right (30 buck spring special) and we have liked J.G's other designed courses we have played . However, the course was a big disappointment for us. It was a bit of a cow pasture. Not one of Joel Goldstrand's better layouts. The greens were in very good condition, but the fairways were very yellow with winter kill (I guess) and green grass was hard to find. We drove 40 miles to play here but I'm sorry, we won't be back. Alot of pre-round hype on line, but it turned out to be a big let down.
