A round in the evening may take a little longer than normal, but not bad.

Manitou Ridge may be the overall best public course in the Twin Cities. It has a variety of different holes that challenge even the best golfers. Charlie in the pro shop is the most friendly, humorous person around.

Customer Service is outstanding, unsurpassed by none. Everyone at Manitou is always willing to give tips, suggestions or help a golfer out at anytime.

Course conditions. Variety of holes.

Lack of major architectural interest. Not alot of trees, kinda flat in spots.

Manitou is great golf for the money. Very open, so if your driver is off, you still have a chance. Greens are medium in speed and usually in good shape, lots of undulations on some of them. Sometimes hackers can slow pace of play, but usually 4.5 hrs. Nice rolling terrain is easy to walk. A good value overall.

This is a pretty decent course for a small amount of change. Nothing to exciting, but it is well kept up and is easy access to anyone in the St. Paul area. I'd play here before playing any of the Minneapolis or St. Paul muni courses.
