The daylight hours are too short in January and couldn't finish 36 holes in a day.

Three friends and I drove down from Iowa and played this course in January 2003. You have to realize that coming from Iowa in January, just about everything would be better than Iowa in January! We played the course for 2 days and were very pleased. The fairways are wide enough to be fair for the average golfer. The greens were firm and in very good condition. We enjoyed the trip. If I remember correctly, since it was the off-season we played all day, with carts, for approx. $40.00 per person.

VERY HILLY SO WHEN IT RAINS THEY HAVE SOME WATER THAT DOESN'T DRAIN OFF PROPERLY.

YOU ONLY WANT TO PLAY IT WHEN IT IS DRY. VERY HILLY AND HARD TO WALK. GREENS ARE DEECENT NOW. ONLY 2 GREENS HAD BAD SPOTS WHEN WE PLAYED IN JUNE.

THE PEOPLE WHO RUN THE SHOP ARE NOT TOO FRIENDLY. THEY TOLD 2 OF US ON THE PHONE THAT IT WAS $25 TO PLAY AND WHEN WE GOT THERE THEY SAID THAT WAS FOR MS. RESIDENCE ONLY. CHARGED US $35 OR 36.

Fair layout for most golfers

Greens are in BAD condition.

As of 6/01 the greens at Q.H. are in terrible shape. Do not play here unless you are willing to play a 'two putt' rule. Too bad, because this is a nice layout at a reasonable price. The greens are either under attack from mole crickets or a fungus. Rest of the course is in good condition.

Pleasant surprise! Drove awhile to get there and felt like the trip was worth it. Lots of movement to the land, but the greens were very fair, if not in excellent shape. Back nine greens better than front. Challenging to all players, unfair to none. Straightforward layout still in good shape even though it is a public course. Several scenic holes. Only major problem was water. Lots of it due to heavy rains the day before apparently. It sits on the course more than it should considering the topography and the bunkers were completely filled and unplayable. Otherwise quite a course and what a value! Best value around, hands down.
