Shoots in the 80s

Very nice set up, I played 3 rounds there. They have 2 courses, Oaks and Azaleas, both were great, Azaleas was more challenging. For early spring course was in great shape. Both were challenging, greens relatively quick. I found the whole golf experience very enjoyable

Customer Service

Very good. Nice reception service at bag drop, good group in pro shop. Nice but small grill room. I felt very much like a welcomed guest.

Shoots in the 80s

Both courses are stunning in layout and strategy. Sand traps are extremely punishing, and were in rather poor condition. It is the details that make this resort a disappointment. Too many golfers assisted by too few, uncaring staff.

Customer Service

Terrible. Staff was on the whole uninterested inn nearly every way.

I played both courses. The azales is just simply beautiful. The fairways were in great shape and the bent greens were just amazing. Very fast greens. The course was ranked 20th in the Nation last year. They have a special right now till the 14th of March.. 50 bucks and you can play all the golf you want in that day. Great value. We also played the oaks.. Also a great course! I would say it is the next best thing to Pebble Beach!

Customer Service

AWESOME!

Shoots in the 80s

Played the Azalea course. Not as difficult a layout as I had been led to believe. The problem is in the rough(~4-6 inches) and the speed of the greens(10 on the stimp). If you keep it in the fairway and can stick it close on the approach every hole, then no problem. Makes you appreciate the pros ability out of the rough and on the greens. Paid $60 on the weekend after 1pm. Great value. Only thing is that I wish I had bought a yardage book($7.50). Perfect day, imperfect score.

Oaks course was in great shape. Green were great and the fairways and tees were immaculate. Azaleas left a little to be desired. Beautiful views. Number 8 and 10 give you a good chance even for a mid handicapper. Can stay at the clubhouse for $150 a night. Includes beautiful room, cart to drive to and from the casino, and unlimited golf. Went 6/27 going back in March. Played 4 1/2 rounds in the two days. Feel free to e-mail me with any questions.

Kept in great shape. It is the best kept secret in the South. Bent greens that are velvet smooth.
