Shoots in the 80s

Ok, things have changed since the last time I played Sharkey. One, my game is alot better :-) But, more importantly, the price has changed to an unreasonable amount. Some buddies of mine and myself were planning to play golf a few saturday's ago, we got together and realized there was rain all around Vicksburg. I called Sharkey to see if the weather was good and if they had any tee times. They said the weather was good and they did have tee times. I asked the price and they said $45. Ok, $45 for a 9-hole course that is in the middle of no where is a bit outrageous. Lake Caroline, one of the premiere 18-hole courses around cost $45, but Sharkey Country Club? I am a member of Tallulah Country Club and it is only $45 a month and $22 for a round if you are not a member. What is wrong with this picture. As you can tell, I am not too pleased. Sharkey might want to reconsider that fee or just not expect much out-of-town traffic from a sensible consumer.

Shoot in the 90s

Sharkey Country Club is a fairy nice 9 hole course. The greens are usually in good shape and there are difficult and fairly easy holes on the course. It is definitely worth the price charged and more.
