Shoot in the 70s

I have played this golf course since it opened in 1993. From its beginning, the average condition of the course has been outstanding. The fairways are lush and well manicured and the rough is thick, though maintained at a navigable height. Greens are typically in good condition, with average to above average quickness. They are undulating and large. Tee boxes are short and in excellent condition, especially from the lesser played championship tees. There are over 45 bunkers on the course, and they are well maintained with a good, quality grade of sand. Irrigation is done over the entire golf course, except for the "native" grass areas, which are played as lateral hazards. There are many of these native grass areas, and in the wet summer season, you may as well just drop a ball and move on. Water comes into play on seven holes and sand is in play on 16 holes. The hilly terrain makes it a substantial walk, though not overwhelming.

Overall, this is one of the best conditioned municipal courses in Nebraska! It is a challenge, but can be easily played by players of all ability levels.
