Course was in great condition with quick greens. Fun and challenging and definitely not a typical desert course, more of and old traditional course with mature trees. But the real surprise was the low cost for Vegas golf and the 3 minute drive from the Strip. What a great find. Anyone in town looking for good golf for a good price should try LV National. I will be playing here from now on. Friendly staff and good restaurant too.

Customer Service

very nice, couple of cute girls, and helpful

Traditional course in the middle of the desert. Looks and feels more like a course somewhere in the middle of the country. Plays longer than the yardage due to elevated greens and doglegs. Big trees, well trapped and good greens. Bring your game or you will not score. Its past as a pro tournament course was no fluke.

Customer Service

Comfortable clubhouse with good food and drink values. Very friendly staff. Good range close to 1st and 10th. Snack bar at the turn. What more do you want?

Las Vegas National provides a great opportunity to be challenged on the links while being nestled closely to the Las Vegas Strip. Recent improvements to the course have made a marked difference to the course. Las Vegas National is very affordable in comparison to many of the courses in town and still provides a great golfing experience.

Loved this course. Played it a long time ago and American Golf had it in terrible shape. It's too bad, I think it got a bad reputation for a while. Under new management now, and you can tell they care about it. Course was in great shape in May, green grass everywhere, pretty thick rough, greens were rolling nicely. Plus it's nice to see a course with trees and no desert / waste areas. Classic layout with some pretty tough holes. It's a good challenge from the tips. Definitely recommend if you are a golfer, or you like classic Vegas atmospheres. There is a museum in the clubhouse of Vegas golf history, and some pretty awesome old Vegas houses on the course.

Customer Service

All the staff were great, club house was great, food (and drinks) were surprisingly really good.

Desert Inn, Tropicana (sadly no longer exist). This is the last public classic course in Vegas that's still fun (the old Muni at Decatur/Washington doesn't even compare)

It's a shame more people don't write good reviews, cause this course is awesome. Condition is great, staff is friendly and location in fantastic. Reasonable rates for rentals clubs as well. This is the first time I've played here so I can't say anything about the past. But I will say that I definately recommend it and will play here next year when I visit

Played this course in Feb. Was in bad shape. 1st green dead and very little grass in the fairways. Trash in the ditches and the housed around the course are very run down. Its a real shame this used to be a nice course.

The proshop staff was nice and so was the cart staff. But not nice enough to overcome the horrible conditions

Customer Service

Proshop staff was helpful and so was the cart shed.

Play this course about once a month. And thats enough for me. The course is ordinary. Not worth the 65 dollars I pay for playing with an AGA member. Certainly not the old course when the PGA used to play there. Driving range is mats only. Just a very ordinary course with 18 ordinary holes.

Customer Service

Unfriendly and uncaring. Outside help is just wanting a tip.

PLAYED TWILIGHT ON 5-10-03. COURSE WAS NOT AS GOOD AS WE EXPECTED. NOT WORTH FULL PRICE OF $100+. JUST AN AVERAGE LAYOUT. NOT A HARD COURSE AT ALL. GREENS WERE VERY HARD. EVEN WITH ONLY PAYING $40 FOR TWILIGHT IT WAS NOT WORTH IT.

Customer Service

GOOD
